In Memory of Pookie

Pookie

What is there to say about Pookie that hasn’t already been said…

I will start with “I loved and cared for him the best way that I could”.  In return he gave me exclusive rights to purchase all his wants, fill all his needs, and gave me half the space in my home to live in.

He rid the neighborhood of all stray cats (his idea), gave a couple children and few dogs obedient lessons (at no charge).  He had most of the neighbors and some friends convince he was a dog…a 22 lb.cat can almost pull that off.

There is a saying that says, “When someone passes on, it is not what they said or did that they will be remembered by but it’s  how they made you Feel when you were with them.”

This holds true for my Beloved Pookie, not only did I feel all the degrees of joy and happiness, pain and sorrow, responsibility and commitment I  also felt his love each and every day upon arriving home.

This is a true blessing and I have been very fortunate to have had Pookie allow me to share his life for the last 12 years.
