I adopted Boo from a wonderful shelter in the northeast. He was so very timid when I first brought him home. Slowly but surely he started to come out of his shell but it took quite some time for him to be completely comfortable. I remember the first time he purred! Music to my ears! From that point on he really settled in and became the laid-back, goofy, sweet Boo that we dearly loved. Boo could generally be found in the coziest spot in the house whether it was on top of a stack of fluffy pillows, or on a new super soft blanket. But when I was home, he always wanted to be near and this did not change even as he became very ill.
Boo, you left us way too soon. We miss you.
